  9. The script tries to simplify the creation of (audio)mpeg files from CD's.
  10. It needs 'cdda' and 'lame', both on aminet.
  11.  
  12. - support of CD-ID files. No more need to enter the songnames.
  13.  
  14. - easy to use titel selection. Even without CD-ID files.
  15.  
  16. - adjustable time cut from the leadout. Forget the 5 sec. silence at the
  17.   end of a song.
  18.  
  19. - continue interrupted sessions with the same datas.
  20.  
  21. - configurable through (easy to edit) parameters.
  22.  
  23. - can also be used as a simple cdda to audio-iff converter.
  24.  
  25. - it's free. (with one exception, distribution of changed scripts need my
  26.               permission.)

  28. These are the good news, now the bad news. At the moment the script and the
  29. doc are only in german. I've done it for my personal use and never thought
  30. of an aminet release until a friend asked me about.

  32. I'm currently working on an english translation (or better the idea of some
  33. kind of 'globalization') and the support for 'Pegase'. But this will need
  34. some more time, so i decided to release it in the current state.

  36. Also i don't know if there is really need for such a script. So please let
  37. me know if this is the thing you are waiting for the last 100 years. 8-)

  49. Das Skript versucht das Erstellen von (Audio)Mpeg-Dateien von CD's zu
  50. vereinfachen.
  51.  
  52. Benötigt werden die Programme 'cdda' und 'lame'. Beide im Aminet
  53.  
  54. - Unterstützung von CD-ID Dateien. Ist eine passende ID-Datei vorhanden
  55.   brauchen die Songtitel nur noch ausgewählt werden.

  57. - einfache Titelauswahl, auch ohne CD-ID Datei
  58.  
  59. - einstellbarer Zeitabzug vom Titelende, daher keine unnötigen Pausen mehr
  60.   zwischen den Titeln
  61.  
  62. - abgebrochene 'Sitzungen' können mit dem unterbrochenen Titel und
  63.   denselben Werten weitergeführt werden.

  65. - konfigurierbar über Parameter.

  67. - kann auch als einfacher cdda nach Audio-IFF Konverter eingesetzt werden.

  72. beliebiger Fremdsprachen. (Pegase Support ist eigentlich fertig, muss aber
  73. noch getestet werden.)
